Dartmouth Sears set to close

The last Southcoast Sears is set to close its doors.

According to South Coast Today/Standard Times, the store will close in the fall along with the Sears Auto Center.

This will leave the North Attleboro Sears at the Emerald Square Mall as the closest Sears in the area once North Dartmouth closes.

Sears in the Swansea Mall closed in 2017.

Sears Holdings, which also owns Kmart, has seen a massive amount of closures as of late and was at least temporarily saved recently with the plan of Chairman Edward Lampert to buy the bankrupt company.
