Fall River crews respond to second gas line rupture near waterfront in three weeks, shut down roadway

Fall River crews responded Monday morning to the scene of a struck gas line.

At approximately 8:30 a.m., a call came into dispatch that a construction company had ruptured a gas line in the area of 697 Davol Street.

Davol Street has been shut down while crews work the scene.

This is the second gas line rupture on Davol Street in the last few weeks as one also occurred on June 16th.
