Crews respond to rollover crash with entrapment on Route 24
Several crews responded on Wednesday afternoon to a local highway for a crash with injuries.
According to the Tiverton Fire Department, at approximately 3:15 p.m., E3, R2, R1, C1, and C3 responded to a reported vehicle rollover with entrapment on Route 24 South before the Fish Road exit.
Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle down the embankment on its roof with an entrapped driver.
The driver was successfully extricated using Tiverton Fire Department’s new eDRAULICS jaws of life and was transported to an area hospital.
The crash is under investigation.
