Two persons of interest were identified and later interviewed by members of the Johnston Police Department’s Investigative Division. The persons of interest were Unkuri’s husband, identified as 37-year-old William M. Bailey, of Cranston, and Bailey’s father, identified as 58-year-old William Link of George Waterman Road, Johnston, RI, the same address Unkuri was found deceased. After an extensive investigation, the case was forwarded for formal review by the Office of the Attorney General.

Misprision of felony is when a person knows that someone has been involved in a felony but fails to report it to law enforcement.

Those who knew Unkuri described her as a beautiful person with a kind heart who is still missed greatly by many friends and family.

Both men are scheduled for arraignment at Providence County Superior Court on Friday, July 7th.
