Crews respond to multi-vehicle Freetown highway crash that caused serious injuries
UPDATE: Massachusetts State Police: Two dead in four-vehicle crash in Freetown
Crews were on scene this morning and afternoon due to a serious crash on a local highway.
Just before 8:30 a.m., a call came into Freetown dispatch for a rollover crash involving two vehicles on Route 140 northbound at mile marker 10.6.
Upon arrival, responders located a person standing conscious and alert in one vehicle and two occupants trapped in a vehicle in the woods.
According to Massachusetts Department of Transportation, the crash caused serious injuries.
The right lane and breakdown lane had remained closed until approximately 12:30 p.m.
