City of Fall River reportedly makes error in printing ballot

Published

on

School Committee candidate Collin Dias has stated that he was notified today by the City of Fall River that the City made an error in printing the ballot as it incorrectly listed Collin Dias’s address.

With the election fast approaching, Dias says that he doesn’t want the ballots corrected as city tax payers would end up footing the bill.

“While I’m disappointed the City made a mistake in listing my candidacy I will not take any legal action against the City to correct it,” said Mr. Dias.

“While I would be right to demand the City reprint and reissue ballots I do not want to waste taxpayer dollars.” However I would hope that the city pay closer attention to detail in the future.” Dias explained.

The election for School Committee, City Council, and mayor is set for November 2nd.

    I’m voting for Colin Dias because he is not afraid to work for Fall River. This young man is not afraid to confront Fall River’s biggest political cronies. Colin Dias is the right cut for political warfare, which I predict will be in full order into the future. Yes I have in the past been critical of many of Colins missteps, but he has changed his ways and matured greatly.

      Colin is too young and since he was educated in public schools he is likley ruined for life;

      don’t know for sure but he likley thinks schools actually exist ‘for the children’, a boy can be a girl or a girl can be a boy or that two dudes can actually be ‘married’ and ‘have’ children; or that Draq Queenism is not a deep mental illness, amd the United States is systemically racist etc. blah, blah and if does believe all that you cant blane him because most dumbed down, spriritualy corrupt adults do as well.
      Defund the public schools; they are rotten to the core and beyond hope. Give every kid a computer and send them home; check in a few times a year … who cares?

    I thought Colin was a Connolly graduate. I believe Colin is the only political candidate in maybe decades to run for a municipal seat as a Republican. Maybe he can comment here on Fall River Reporter and clear the air of these accusations that you have lodged against him. In fact I think a debate should be in order. Nothing like some good bone splitting dialogue to put a little seasoning on a new candidate.
