Bristol County District Attorney identifies 54-year-old woman killed in Raynham collision

Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn, III has announced a single vehicle motor vehicle fatality that occurred Wednesday in Raynham. 

Raynham and Taunton Police were dispatched to the area of King Phillip Street and Gardiner Street at approximately 8:00 p.m. 

Upon arrival, police located a single motor vehicle down a steep slope off in the woods.  The vehicle had obvious damage. 

The operator and sole occupant, 54-year-old Maura Whittemore of Taunton, had suffered significant injury and was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

The investigation into this matter is ongoing by the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, the Raynham Police Department and Taunton Police Department.
