Body found in Narragansett waters this morning
A body has been discovered in Narragansett Wednesday morning.
At approximately 8:45 a.m., officials requested assistance for a body recovery in the water in the area of State Street.
The state medical examiner is assisting with the investigation.
On Saturday, a male jumped from the Newport/Claiborne Pell Bridge and had not been located.
It is not clear yet if both incidents are related as the investigation continues.
