Artistic Dance Studio and Just Dance! offering free class to show boys dance too
Two local dance studios are looking to show the community that boys dance too and they are putting their money where their mouth is.
Artistic Dance Studio and Just Dance! are teaming up to offer boys the opportunity to try a free class (donations only) to see what it takes to be a dancer.
In the wake of the Good Morning America controversy, the two studios are out to show that not only can two dance studios work together in a non-competitive environment, but that it is not just girls that dance. Boys dance too.
Just Dance! and Artistic Dance Studio are welcoming Travis Atwood who will be teaching Jazz Funk from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
From 6:30-8:00 p.m. Sherry Winn Keith Silva & Alannah Campos will be teaching a class where there will be a 30 minute strength train like a dancer with no weights followed by an hour of Hip Hop with Alannah and Keith!
A scholarship will be given to an outstanding male student.
The event will be taking place at Just Dance! 426 Metacom Ave, Warren, Rhode Island on August 29th.
Remember, dancers are athletes too.
