Yet another Massachusetts State Trooper has been hit by a vehicle while on the job.

According to the State Police Association of Massachusetts, over the weekend, a Trooper in H-Troop was struck in his cruiser while he was assisting another driver who had crashed on Storrow Drive in Boston.

The cruiser was struck from behind by a Toyota.

Thankfully, the Trooper did not suffer any serious injuries.

A week ago, three Massachusetts police officers were injured in two separate crashes.

Also this month, a driver smashed into a Massachusetts State Police cruiser with a Trooper inside.

SPAM would like to remind drivers concerning proper etiquette on Massachusetts roads.

“On behalf of all Association members, we remind everyone within the Commonwealth to SLOW DOWN, BUCKEL UP, DRIVE SOBER and MOVE OVER especially when approaching an emergency vehicle.”
