Fall River Police investigating after man arrives at hospital suffering from gunshot wound

Police are investigating after a person was shot this past weekend.

According to Sergeant Ross Aubin, on Sunday night, at approximately 10:45 p.m., a male arrived at St. Anne’s Hospital with a gunshot wound to his upper thigh.

The male was initially not cooperative or forthcoming with information.

While collecting evidence and making certain there were no additional victims of the shooting, officers located a firearm in the front seat of the victim’s vehicle.

The matter is still under investigation.
