Bristol County school counselor passes away
School officials have announced the loss of Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School counselor Kerri O’Malley.
O’Malley passed away Sunday after a long illness.
The school stated that “her dedication to our school community and her profound impact on staff and students will be deeply missed.”
SRVTHS will have a 90-minute delay Monday, so that Southeastern staff have time to gather to remember O’Malley and to prepare to support students. Classes will begin at 9:00 a.m.
Crisis counselors will be available for students who need support on Monday.
