Fall River scooter rider injured, transported to New Bedford hospital after collision in Walmart parking lot
A man riding a scooter in Fall River Monday was injured in a collision in a department store parking lot.
According to Det. Sergeant Matthew Mendes, at just after 4:45 p.m., a 58-year-old man was cutting through parking spaces at Walmart, located at 638 Quequechan Street, at which time a vehicle with the right of way struck him.
The man was injured during the accident and subsequently transported to St. Lukes Hospital for non-life threatening injures.
