Fall River Police investigating after skimming device found at convenience store
Fall River Police are looking into an incident at a city convenience store.
According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, at just after 12:15 a.m., on Sunday, units responded to 7-eleven located on New Boston Road regarding the discovery of a skimming device.
The cashier at the business indicated that a customer discovered the presence of the device when he noticed the device was not lighting up consistent with his past experience in making purchases.
It is unknown how long the device had been at the location.
Pereira stated that the matter remains under investigation.
