Massachusetts woman who changed things up announces plans after $4 million State Lottery prize
A Massachusetts woman has some relaxation on the agenda after changing things up led to a big scratch ticket win.
Alejandra Maria Arroyave Hurtado of Revere has won a $4 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “4,000,000 Mayhem” $10 instant ticket game.
Hurtado usually plays Cashword tickets but decided to test her luck with one $4,000,000 Mayhem.
Hurtado opted to receive her prize in the form of a one-time payment of $2,600,000 (before taxes). She said she plans to use her winnings on a vacation in the near future.
She purchased her winning ticket at Elias Food Market, 4 Park Ave. in Revere. The store receives a $40,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
