Rides, food, car show, contests, live entertainment and more coming to Freetown’s Lakeside Family Festival in 2024

St. John Neumann parish is pleased to announce their 38th Annual free admission Lakeside Family Festival to be held at St. John Neumann Parish grounds on Route 18 (157 Middleboro Road) in East Freetown, Massachusetts, on Memorial Day weekend, May 24th – May 27th.

Many activities and special events are planned that will be looking to entertain young and old alike.

There will be Fiesta amusement rides for all ages, a large variety of ethnic and American foods, midway games of skill and chance, and the popular giant barn sale with hundreds of items to choose from. Live entertainment will also be taking place throughout the festival including music, animals, and local pageant titleholders.

One of the biggest attractions is the 32nd Annual Antique and Classic Car Show that will be held on Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

For those who want to nibble on some delicious snacks- they will have a homemade baked goods table with a large assortment of cakes, bars and squares, with some diabetic and gluten free options.

The Lakeside Family Festival creates a family atmosphere which is why no alcoholic beverages are allowed on the grounds.

The free admission festival will open on Friday May 24th at 6 p.m. and close at 11 p.m.
On Saturday and Sunday, it will run from noon to 11 p.m.
On Monday its operating times will be from noon to 5 p.m.
