Fall River Public Library Events – December 22 through December 29

Fall River Public Library, 104 North Main Street, has the following events scheduled for the week of December 22 through December 29 2018.

Sat., December 22
Vinyasa Yoga, 10 a.m., Main Library
Craft Circle, South Branch Library, 10-12 a.m. and 2-4 p.m. For adults.

Wed., December 26
Movie Matinee, 1 p.m., Main Library, featuring Mission Impossible: Fallout

Thurs., Dec. 27
Family Movie, 1 p.m., Main Library, featuring Smallfoot.

Sat., December 29
Breaker Space, 10 a.m., Main Library. Family STEM program with tech take-apart. Tools and safety goggles provided. All ages.

Holiday hours: Please note that the library will be closed on Christmas Eve (December 24) and Christmas Day (December 25) and will reopen on Wednesday, December 26. The library will also be closed on New Year’s Eve (December 31) and New Year’s Day (January 1, 2019).

During Christmas break (and any time), kids can access books, music, and movies through the library’s web site. TumbleBooks (tumblebooklibrary.com) has animated read-along books, from picture books to timeless classics like Anne of Green Gables, as well as videos. Hoopla has streaming video, music, and graphic novels for all ages, from toddlers through teens. Both are accessible from home with a Fall River library card.
