Fall River Police looking for suspect after early morning stabbing
The Fall River Police Department is looking for an early morning stabbing suspect.
According to Detective Sergeant Moses Pereira, at approximately 1:45 a.m. this morning, officers responded to the area of Plymouth Avenue and Rodman Street after receiving a report that a male had been stabbed in the area.
Officers located the victim, who was suffering from at least one possible stab wound in the area of his back. He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to witnesses, the victim had a brief encounter with the suspect prior to the incident. Witnesses reported that the suspect fled the area West on Rodman Street. This individual is described as a tall, skinny, black male.
Investigators continue to pursue all available leads in this case.
