Fall River Police issue statement concerning Fall River Public Schools shelter in place
The Fall River Police Department has issued a statement concerning today’s lockdown at Fall River schools.
According to Sergeant Moses Pereira, this morning the Fall River Police Department received a telephone call from an unknown individual. During this call, the individual communicated a threat directed at the Bishop Connolly High School.
In order to ensure the safety of the students and staff at the school, FRPD deployed resources to secure the facility, and investigate the threat. The command staff was in communication with the administration at the school through this process. A shelter in place was also initiated for the Fall River Public Schools.
Officers conducted a search of the property to ensure that there was no threat to the building or its occupants. Police confirmed that there is no threat to the school.
According to the Massachusetts Fusion Center, several departments throughout the Commonwealth have received similar calls recently.
Pereira stated that an investigation has been launched.
“The Fall River Police Department regards the safety of our community as our highest priority. False reports such as these, will not be tolerated. We will be conducting a detailed and thorough investigation of this incident. We will also maintain increased visibility in the area of our city’s schools throughout the remainder of the day.”
Between 10 AM and noon three shooting/bomb threats were received by schools in Springfield, Great Barrington, and Greenfield.
At approximately 10:15 AM a shooting/bomb threat was received by a school in Clinton.
Between 10:45 AM and 11:45 AM shooting/bomb threats were received by schools in Duxbury, Edgartown, Harwich, and Fall River.
The threats received were consistent in content with each other and those made to other schools yesterday. State Police patrols, K9 teams, and the Bomb Squad responded to all of the above locations along with local police departments. Every school was cleared and the threats determined to be hoax calls. All incidents were reported to the State Police Commonwealth Fusion Center.
The Fusion Center is assisting in investigating the source or sources of the threats.

Are these psychological operations? Will the caller be identified? If we can find Bin Laden in a cave, will we find the threats origins? An operation went live at Michigan State University yesterday 2/13/23. Today’s emergencies capture the attention of entire communities. Whoever offers safety will inherently obtain control. If our schools cannot be made safe from terroristic threats, then they should be closed. Remember the Federal Beaureau of Investigation ran a kidnapping operation against Governor Gretchen Whitmer? Don’t become a controlled mind. Follow your instincts. Watch out for the “Mainstream Narrative”. The media and our government have been lying to us for decades. We the People have the ability to unite as Americans and hold strong to our rights to feel safe and secure on our homeland. Let’s uncover the truth about what and who are controlling our daily narrative.
