Two police cruisers in Rhode Island collide in early morning crash while responding to call
Early Saturday morning, two police cruisers were involved in a crash while responding to a call.
According to scanner transmissions, a call came in just before 1:40 a.m. for the 600 block of North Main Street in Woonsocket.
As units were responding to the scene, an officer could be heard stating that one person was detained, and other cruisers could slow down. Seconds later, an officer reported that two police cruisers were involved in a crash near the scene of the apprehension.
Ryan Taft, who took the above photo, saw the aftermath of the collision that took place at the intersection of Winter and North Main Streets causing traffic to the area to be shut down.
The officer’s conditions are unclear, however, scanner transmissions reported that there were no serious injuries.

One would think that these two clowns should have slowed down at the intersection ! This never should have happened if they listened to their radio communication !
