Johnston Police investigating after juvenile fatally shot in accident
Tragedy struck Saturday night after a juvenile was struck and killed by a bullet in an accident.
According to Police Chief Joseph Razza, the department is investigating the death of a juvenile male from an apparent gunshot wound.
The incident took place on Cedar Street.
According to Razza, the shooting does not appear to be deliberate.
“We are treating the incident as accidental and those involved are fully cooperating with investigators.”
No other information was released.
