Victim’s name released in fiery, fatal, Seekonk crash
A driver was killed Monday after a fiery crash in Seekonk.
According to Gregg Milotte of the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, Richard Carlson, 36, of Pawtucket was driving a Ford Explorer and was apparently travelling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his vehicle while travelling north on Arcade Avenue near Scott Road.
The vehicle drove over several lawns, striking a large bolder and a tree. The engine caught fire after the crash, but was quickly extinguished by first responders.
Milotte stated that no one else was injured or involved in the crash.
