A popular spot on the Southcoast has changed their virus protocols.
Buzzards Bay Brewing has announced mandatory safety protocols. The announcement came today through social media and their website with patrons now moving indoors.
“Buzzard fans, friends, and family,
As we move inside for our winter months, we are announcing new safety protocols. We will require customers to show proof of a COVID-19 vaccination this week. To maintain the safest indoor space possible for guests, staff, and musicians, all visitors must present evidence of COVID19 vaccination (with the last dose administered at least 14 days before).”
What do you need to present?
• Physical vaccination cards or clear photocopies/phone pictures of your vaccination card will be considered acceptable forms.
• The vaccination card (or photo) must match the name on your government-issued photo ID.
• PLEASE NOTE that a current negative COVID test will NOT suffice for entry.
When does this start?
• Indoor service and proof of vaccination to begin in Westport on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
• Indoor service and proof of vaccination to begin in Bourne on Friday, November 5, 2021.
When will we resume outdoors service?
• Outdoor service will return in late spring 2022.
Buzzards Bay Brewing is known for its scenery and unfiltered locally grown malted ales and sours.
The brewery went on to thank customers for supporting them during these challenging times.
