Multiple families displaced in early morning Fall River fire
Several families had to leave their home after an early morning fire in Fall River.
A call came into dispatch at approximately 1:15 a.m.for flames showing at 84 Boutwell Street.
Upon arrival, firefighters encountered flames shooting out of the 6 family residential home.
According to WPRI 12, 11 adults and 5 children had to be evacuated and several cats were deceased.
The building sustained heavy damage, but was not a total loss.
The fire is under investigation.
