Fall River woman reaches out to the public for cards, well-wishes and prayers to ailing 95-year old WWII veteran
“I am once again asking for everyone to please send cards of well wishes and prayers to Mr. Mathews, a 95-year old WW2 veteran, who has taken a turn for the worst since the New Year.
During the holidays I started #operationmrmatt asking all to send Mr.Mathews holiday Cards, the overwhelming response, was deeply appreciated. Mail is his favorite part of the day!
We have not given up hope that Mr.Matt will soon return to his joyful happy self. I know all your well wishes will lift his spirits and help show him just how much he is appreciated. 😢💓🍀
