Swansea resident hits $1 million prize in Massachusetts instant game
A local man just got a little richer this week.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Kevin Souza of Swansea is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$5,000,000 100X Cashword” instant game.
Souza chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He purchased his winning ticket at Swansea Mini Mart, 651 Grand Army of the Republic Highway in Swansea. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of the ticket.
Two $5 million prizes and seven additional $1 million prizes are still available in the “$5,000,000 100X Cashword” $20 instant game.
