FALL RIVER— The Narrows Center brings in the New Year with another great roster of performances. Here’s the January schedule of upcoming events. For a full list, visit the website. Doors open at 7pm and shows start at 8pm, unless otherwise noted.

Thu, Jan 4. Funky White Honkies. Join us for our annual post-New Year’s dance party with a favorite local band. $27 Advance; $30 Day of Show.

Fri, Jan 5. Funky White Honkies. SOLD OUT.

Sat, Jan 6. Cheryl Wheeler. She’s a Narrows fave who easily moves from outrageously funny to achingly beautiful. $37; $40 DOS.

Thu, Jan 11. Willie Nile. The New York Times called Willie Nile “one of the most gifted singer-songwriters to emerge from the New York scene in years.” $24; $27.

Fri, Jan 12. 5th Annual Winter Blues Festival with Carolyn Wonderland, Scott Sharrard, Delta Generators, and Black Cadillac Trio. $35 Advance; $37 Day of Show; $62 Friday & Saturday Package. Doors open at 5pm. Show starts at 6pm.

Sat, Jan 13. 5th Annual Winter Blues Festival with Anthony Gomes, Damon Fowler, Neal McCarthy Band, and Lois Greco. $37 Advance; 42 Day of Show; $62 for 2-Day Package. Doors open at 5pm. Show starts at 6pm.

Fri, Jan 19. Amy Helm. Opener: Connor Kennedy. Blessed with a commanding, deeply expressive voice and an uncanny songwriting skill that instinctively draws upon a deep well of American musical traditions, Amy Helm delivers. $30; $32.

Sat, Jan 20. Girls, Guns & Glory. Americana heartthrobs return to the Narrows stage after recently opening up for Marty Stuart. $22; $25.

Thu, Jan 25. Tinsley Ellis. As a proud Georgia-based artist, with his new album Red Clay Soul he celebrates a legacy built on four decades of performing, recording and song writing. $27; $30.

Fri, Jan 26. Matthew Stubbs & the Antiguas, and Julie Rhodes. The self-titled album from Matthew Stubbs & the Antiguas is a diverse and propulsive affair, combining psych rock with garage rock, acid blues, and afro-beat. Julie has won numerous Boston Music awards and it won’t be long before the world knows her. $22; $25.

Wed, Jan 31. Unisphere. Dave Zinno Unisphere is a joyous jazz experience. Their upcoming night at the Narrows is an official CD release party for their recently released Whaling City Sound recording, River of January. $22; $25.
