Fall River police investigating Tuesday armed robbery at credit union
Fall River police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in the city.
According to Detective John Robinson, on July 23rd, at approximately 9:45 a.m., Uniform Division Officers were dispatched to Saint Anthony of Padua Credit Union in response to a reported Armed Robbery.
Credit Union personnel reported that a male entered the bank in an excited state. He approached the teller counter and demanded only ‘hundreds and fifties’. Upon receiving the cash, he fled in an unknown direction.
The suspect was described as:
White Male with dark skin
Medium build
Blond Hair
Thin nose and cheeks (sunken)
Moustache/goatee
5’10 to 6 feet tall
Dressed all in black
Dark Hooded sweatshirt pulled tight around face
