Program/entertainment schedule released for Fall River’s Great Feast of the Holy Ghost

Looking for some great food and entertainment along with reverence toward the Holy Ghost? That is exactly what is headed to Fall River once again in 2026.

The Great Feast of the Holy Ghost is taking place at Kennedy Park in Fall River from Wednesday August 26th to Monday, August 31st.

The current preliminary schedule of the feast is as follows:

Quinta-feira (Thursday)

• 7:00 – 8:00 pm → DJ Matty O
• 8:00 – 9:00 pm → Wine Country
• 9:00 – 10:30 pm → Young Fire

Sexta-feira (Friday)

• 9:00 – 9:30 pm → Folia da Igreja do Espírito Santo, Fall River
• 9:30 – 11:00 pm → Doce Tributo (Vindo da Terceira)

Sábado (Saturday)

• 6:00 – 7:00 pm → Cantigas ao desafio: Jose Custodio, Antonio Resendes, Eduardo Papoila, Jose Placido, guitarra portuguesa Jose Silva e violão Jose Medeiros
• 7:00 – 8:30 pm → Concerto de Bandas Filarmónicas
• 8:30 – 9:30 pm → Concerto de Fado: Sonia Bettencourt, Carlos Furtado & Catarina Avelar
• 9:30 – 11:00 pm → Marc Dennis & Atlantys

Domingo (Sunday)

• 5:30 – 7:00 pm → Concerto de Bandas Filarmónicas
• 7:00 – 7:30 pm → Rosa Maria
• 7:30 – 8:00 pm → David Demello
• 8:30 – 10:00 pm → Rodrigo Leal

Wednesday typically features the praying of the rosary with traditional soup in praise of the Holy Ghost.

Monday typically has the closing ceremony at an event hall.
