Free concert series for kids coming to Fall River’s Elm Street stage
The Fall River Public Library, thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Fall River Women’s Union, will host a series of family concerts on its Elm Street stage from June 27 through July 24. For four weeks, beginning Thursday, June 27, Families are invited to spread blankets on the lawn and bring picnic lunches or snacks to enjoy as they listen to music provided by an exciting line-up of talented musicians. From zany puppeteers to musical families, each week will feature a variety of musical styles and showmanship.
In the event of rain, the concerts will take place in the library’s meeting room, with the exception of the final concert, The Blues Crew, which will play in the P.A.L. Auditorium in case of rain.
The concert series schedule is as follows:
Thursday, June 27 at 11 a.m. – Sing, Play & Grow with Phil Alexander
Wednesday, July 10 at 11 a.m. – Rick Goldin, Music & Puppets
