Man killed on Route 95 by his own vehicle
An incident occurred Sunday where a man was killed by his own vehicle.
At approximately 4:10 p.m. today Massachusetts State Troopers assigned to the Foxboro Barracks responded to a single vehicle crash on Route 95 in Canton.
For reasons still under investigation, the 72-year-old male operator stopped and exited his 2006 Ford F-150, then was subsequently struck and fatally injured by his truck.
The cause of this crash remains under investigation with assistance from the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and Crime Scene Services Section.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending family notification.
