The Norfolk District Attorney’s Office and Dedham Police Detectives are investigating a fatal head-on collision that occurred Friday night on Washington Street in Dedham, Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey announced today.
The crash occurred at approximately 11:15 p.m. in the area of 961 Washington Street and involved an Eversource utility truck and a pickup truck.

The driver of the pickup truck, whose identity is not being released pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Assisting with the investigation are troopers assigned to the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, the MSP Crime Scene Services Section, and the MSP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Section.
