A young child was struck by a bus in Rhode Island on Sunday morning.
At approximately 9:15 a.m. a call came into dispatch for a 3-year-old child who was struck by a RIPTA bus in the area of 112 Benefit Street in Pawtucket.

Upon arrival, first responders located the child who was conscious and alert, but having difficulty breathing.
The child was transported to Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
