A Massachusetts man has announced where his prize money is going after a big State Lottery win. It’s a decision we have seen quite often as of late.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Isauro Castillo of Waltham has claimed the first $1,000,000 grand prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$500 Ca$h” $5 scratch ticket game.

He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He plans on saving the winnings which has become a popular option among recent winners.
He purchased his winning ticket at J & J Variety, 851 Main St. in Waltham. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
There are three grand prizes of $1,000,000 left unclaimed for this game.
