A local restaurant chain is reportedly closing one of their locations in Fall River this week.
Workers at Qdoba Mexican Eats have told Fall River Reporter that their location at 544 William S Canning Blvd is closing at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
It is currently unclear what will become of the property.
Qdoba is a fast-casual Mexican restaurant chain known for customizable burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, and nachos. It was founded in 1995 in Denver as Zuma Fresh Mexican Grill, later became Qdoba Mexican Grill, and rebranded to Qdoba Mexican Eats in 2015. The chain has roughly 800–840 locations across the U.S. and Canada. Guests can customize proteins (including flame-grilled chicken, steak, and brisket birria), toppings, and salsas, with free guacamole and 3-cheese queso on entrées at most locations.
The Fall River location opened in February of 2018 in the SouthCoast Marketplace Plaza.
