
Several crews responded to a collision with injuries in Fall River late Thursday morning.
At just before 11:30 a.m., a call came into dispatch for a motorcycle versus vehicle crash with injuries in the area of Seventh Street and Pleasant Street.
Fall River EMS Squad 12, Medic 2, and Fall River Fire Engine 2, along with Fall River Police responded to the scene, according to Fall River EMS.
Due to the severity of injuries, Medic 2, staffed by 1 paramedic and 1 EMT, transported 1 patient to Saint Luke’s Trauma Center in New Bedford. Squad 12 cleared the scene with 1 patient refusal against medical advice.
EMS stated that at last check, the patient that was transported was in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery.
“We want to remind all drivers to be cautious when driving, to watch out for motorcycles, to drive the speed limit and to always wear your seatbelt! We are always here if you need us!”, EMS said.
The crash is under investigation.
