
A Massachusetts man is continuing his life plans after winning over $1 million recently on a new State Lottery instant game.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Vrushab Jadhav of Worcester is the first winner of a $20,000 a month for ten years grand prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s new “Decade of Dollars” $10 scratch ticket game that went on sale August 11.
He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $1,560,000 (before taxes). He said he plans on investing and putting the winnings towards school.
He purchased his winning ticket at Jayzi Mart, 9 Pleasant St. in Leominster. The store will receive a $24,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
Five instant grand prizes of $20,000 a month for ten years remain unclaimed for this game.
