Authorities are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash involving multiple riders.
According to Massachusetts State Police, at just before 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, Troopers from the Bourne Barracks responded to a crash involving two motorcycles on Route 6 East Bound in Sandwich.
One of the motorcyclists was transported to a local hospital and later succumbed to his injuries. The other motorcyclist only sustained minor injuries and was taken to the barracks for questioning.

All travel lanes were shut down for a short time and have since been re-opened.
The crash remains under investigation at this time. No further information was available.
