A Massachusetts woman is being accused of going fast. Very fast.

According to State Police, earlier this week, Sergeant Robinson was traveling north on I-395 in Montville, Connecticut.

Sgt. Robinson observed a Tesla in front of his location. The vehicle was passing on the right and traveling at a high rate of speed. Sgt. Robinson was able to clock the vehicle speed for over two miles at speeds greater than 100 MPH. Sgt. Robinson activated his in car and body camera, which documented top speeds at 120 MPH in moderate traffic. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the accused.

Shortly thereafter, 20-year-old Emily Ferreira of Massachusetts was placed into custody and transported to the Troop E barracks. She was charged with reckless driving and passing on the right. She was released after posting a $1,000 bond and provided a court date of 7/7/2026 at GA #21 in the City of Norwich.
