Fall River Police investigating after morning weekend shooting

Fall River Police are investigating after a Saturday morning shooting.

According to scanner transmissions, just after 9:00 a.m., a call came in for a shots fired incident in the area of 99 Tremont Street.

Upon arrival, officers located spent shell casings.

A portion of Tremont Street was shut down while authorities investigated the incident and searched for the suspect(s).

It is currently unclear if anyone has been placed into custody regarding the incident.
