State Police arrest 18-year-old Fall River teen after an attempted motor vehicle stop

State Police arrested a local teen Friday night after a reported incident.

According to Rhode Island State Police, at just before 11:45 p.m., Troopers arrested 18-year-old Diego Morillo Mosquea of Fall River, for Reckless Driving and Other Offenses Against Public Safety – 1st Offense.

The arrest was the result of an attempted motor vehicle stop on Route 146 North, and Troopers subsequently locating the vehicle on Branch Avenue in the City of Providence.

Morillo Mosquea was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court date.
