UPDATE: Carnival has been cancelled.

Statement by Flint Neighborhood Association President Carlos Cesar:

I have bad news. The carnival is CANCELED.
Apparently a contractor rents part of the back of the mill and that was never brought up when we requested the space. The contractor needs to drive back and forward to pick up materials and vans every morning and at the end of the day. That become a safety concern for us. So we decided to canceled the Carnival. I was really happy to bring more entertainment to our city but i guess I let you guys down this time. I apologize for the inconvenience that I may cause to some of you. Hope your forgive me for trying. Thank you and I AM SORRY.
