A recent State Lottery win by a Massachusetts woman is bringing memories of a hit pop song

A Massachusetts woman recently came away with a State Lottery win and it is bringing memories of a former hit song by Laura Branigan.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Gloria Trott is the winner of the Mass Cash $100,000 grand prize.

She purchased her winning ticket at Kam’s Food Mart in Fall River. The store has received a $1,000 bonus for its sale of this winning ticket.

A line from the song “Gloria” goes, “I think they got your number.” If the “they” is the Massachusetts Lottery, the lyric is downright prophetic.

Mass Cash drawings are conducted twice a day, seven days a week. The cost of each play is $1. To play, you must pick five out of 35 numbers or choose Quic Pic, which randomly picks the five numbers for you. Tickets that match all five winning numbers selected in the drawing win the game’s top prize.
