22-year-old Massachusetts man dies in dirt bike crash just before Christmas
A young Massachusetts man has died in a crash just before Christmas.
Friends and family say that 22-year-old Steven Zografos of Oxford tragically lost his life in a dirt bike accident in Thompson, CT on Saturday.
The crash took place in Quaddick State Forest just before 4:00 p.m. and involved two dirt bikes.
A 21-year-old man also suffered injuries, according to NECN, and was medflighted to a local hospital.
A GoFundMe fundraiser stated that Zografos was an avid rider.
“Steven loved riding dirt bikes and being surrounded by friends and family. Steven was loved by so many, and his smile was infectious. On Christmas Eve, hug your loved ones and cherish each and every moment. Life is so precious, and Steven’s life was taken far too soon.”
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
