18-year-old wanted in fatal college shooting in Massachusetts captured in New York

Kevin Rodriguez, 18, was captured in New York Thursday morning on a warrant in connection with the fatal shooting at Worcester State University on October 28.

He was wanted on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm and armed assault with intent to murder.

Worcester State University Police responded to the shooting scene after receiving a 911 call.

Two men were found with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to area hospitals. The 19-year-old victim died from his injuries. The second victim, a 21-year-old man, appeared to have non-life-threatening injuries.

Worcester Police, Worcester State University Police, Massachusetts State Police, the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, the U.S. Marshals Service and Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office all worked in collaboration to locate and apprehend Rodriguez.

The investigation into the shootings at Worcester State University is ongoing.

      Wow; blatant racism. This young man is a minority who has faced countless hurdles living under the white supremecy rule in America. If this kid is not entitled to commit senseless murder, then who is?
