Yarmouth Police warn public of Sean Gannon Fund scam
Yarmouth Police have announced a scam claiming to solicit money related to the death of K9 Sgt. Sean Gannon.
Barnstable Police has received several calls stating they are raising money for the “Sean Gannon Fund”. This is a scam. The phone numbers used so far are: 508-418-0669, 508-418-0431, and 508-418-0979. There are NO PHONE SOLICITATIONS being conducted to raise money.
Anyone wishing to donate may do so throught the Yarmouth Police Foundation. YPD will accept in-person donations at Yarmouth Police Headquarters, or visit the Yarmouth Police Foundations website for mail and online donations:
