Work to take place on Charles Braga Bridge, several Fall River streets this week
FALL RIVER/SOMERSET – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has announced it will be performing preliminary survey work on the Braga Bridge related to an upcoming project to perform electrical upgrades on the bridge.
The work will require the temporary closure of the right travel lane on I-195 eastbound on the Braga Bridge between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21. The scheduled rain date for this work will be Thursday, June 22.
Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
All scheduled work is weather dependent and/or may be impacted due to an emergency.
Also, Ferreira Corporation is working at the following locations this upcoming week.
