Woman seriously injured after being bitten in the face by dog in Fall River
A hearing has been scheduled after a dog caused serious injuries to a woman in Fall River.
According to Lieutenant Greg Wiley, on April 30, 2021, authorities respond to a 46-year-old female who was bitten by a dog.
The owner of the white and gray male pit bull, who lives on Canonicus Street, had the dog on a leash at the time of the incident and the owner was attempting to control the dog when the victim was being bitten, according to police.
The victim sustained a serious injury to her face.
Animal Control Officers have since quarantined the dog.
A dangerous dog hearing has been scheduled for May 24th.
