Who says mothers-in-law are so bad? Gift turns into a big win in $10,000,000 Bonus Wins” Massachusetts scratch ticket
Who says mothers-in-law are so bad? A soon-to-be daughter-in-law owes hers big time as she is responsible for a million-dollar scratch ticket win.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Shannon Mee is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$10,000,000 Bonus Wins” instant ticket game.
Mee received her winning ticket as a birthday gift from her soon to be mother-in-law, who also recently celebrated a birthday. She chose to receive her prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). She plans on putting some of her winnings toward home improvements.
Her winning ticket was purchased at Richdale Food Shops located at 2160 Washington Street in Canton. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
