“It is with deep sorrow that we humbly regret to inform you that a special member of our emergency management team in conjunction with the Westport Fire Department has passed away this week.”
“Casey was our incredible mascot and therapy dog for many years, but he was more than a companion and support dog who came with us on all of our calls, rather he was a source of comfort to all whose presence he graced- from fire and accident victims to children in school to those at training events. He was a friend to all and will be deeply missed. ”
“To his family the Nicholson’s, May you all know how much we care, how sorry we are, and how much we will miss his comfort, support and unconditional love. May Casey forever Rest In Peace.”
